Week 5
This week was pretty difficult when it comes to my focus. This week, I got back one of my tests for Greek geometry and it was not a good score, so for the rest of the week my head was wandering to "oh what's my grade going to drop to?" and "Oh my god my mom's gonna check the grades and take my phone." Really this week was not good when it comes to focus. However, with affability, one of my friends returned to the school which made me very happy that she returned. And tomorrow, I have my volunteering, which by the way, last week was so much fun. I met new people which I made friends with and improved affability and since I began volunteering, I began my commitment, so I guess that would make my volunteering two birds with one stone. Anyways, I hope next week is overall a better week.
Hi Jazmin! I can understand your problem of not being able to understand a particular subject and a particular teacher properly. In 6th grade Science Olympiad, my coach for a physics event was teaching things that I didn't get at all. So, I went home every day and watched Khan Academy videos and other Youtube videos that helped me understand the topic. As a result, when I went to the competition, I was able to answer most of the questions on the test, and I ended up doing really well in that event. In short, I suggest learning from outside sources if you don't understand what's happening in class. I hope this suggestion helps you do better in your Greek Geometry class!
